Is it safe to put a plasma TV 1 to 2 feet away from a radiator?

The plasma TV will be on a separate TV stand next to (not on top) of the radiator (which is covered). The distance between the TV and radiator will be about 1 to 2 feet. Is that ok or will it damage the plasma?

It may shorten the life of the tv with more heating of the electronic components – the warmer they run the harder it is on them and plasmas already run warmer than any other type of tv. If possible put it further away or put something else between the tv and the radiator to block the heat as much as possible, or maybe run a small fan toward it to circulate the warm air more.
it does sound a bit to close
Well plasmas do produce heat and more heat can cause the tv to get damaged i suggest you move your HDTV somewhere else.
